Hello anyone and everyone who visits the site, first of all, thank you for doing that! Second, I wanted to create a quick post with an update about the site’s redesign and updates going forward.

My site turned ten years old in December, so I wanted to give it a total overhaul for the next ten years (and beyond). I set a goal of getting it done by the 10th anniversary, but that obviously didn’t happen. There are a lot of factors involved, but I want to get it done right and not just get something out there for the tenth anniversary.

To give you a preview of what’s to come, the new site logo can be seen above and my hope is that it will be a bit more user friendly. I want to have a section for all of my favorite reviews, create my Sight & Sound Top 10 and encourage others to submit theirs, improve the search function, and overall just bring the site together in a more elegant and minimalist way than the current layout.

So that’s all for now, I hope to have a review up for The Substance soon and will be seeing roughly a dozen more films before making my Best of 2024 list in mid-January. My hope is to review as many of them as I can, since as of right now, I only have reviews up of two of them.
